Sally Lunn's is the oldest house in Bath (c 1482) and the home of the original Sally Lunn Bun. Sally Lunn, a young French refugee, arrived in England over 300 years ago. She began to bake a rich , round andSall Lunn Bun.jpg (37368 bytes) generous bread now known as the Sally Lunn Bun. It became very popular in Georgian England as its  special taste and lightness allowed it to be enjoyed with either sweet or savoury accompaniments. 
Sally Lunn's house has a museum open daily which shows the original Sally Lunn map.gif (85610 bytes)kitchen used by Sally Lunn together with the Roman, Medieval and Saxon foundations to the house.
