Cheddar
Gorge, three miles long with its stalagmite Caves, makes for an exciting day
for all the family. Although some would say it is over commercialised the caves
themselves are magnificent. Take a jumper 
in
summer as the caves are cold. A gorge tour is available for the less energetic,
and there are plenty of places to get food and drink. Be prepared for a lot of
people as this is a popular coach trip from all over the country. Telephone

Wookey
Hole Caves and Papermill are situated at Wookey Hole just two miles from the
city of Wells. Famous for the legend of the Witch and for the production of hand
made paper. Telephone 01749 672243 .....How to get there: From the bottom of Box Hedge Farm Lane go left and keep
going until you reach the A46. Go South for Bath on the A46, picking up the A39
to Wells from Bath. Cheddar Caves and Wookey Hole are both well signposted.
